WAJF Extends Deadline for Artists' Ppplications
The Wooster Arts Jazz Fest is extending the deadline for artists' applications through Friday, April 25. The festival will take place in historic downtown Wooster on Sunday, July 13 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. It is produced through a partnership of Main Street Wooster, Inc., the Rotary Club of Wooster and the Wooster City Schools.
The festival, now in its fifth year, welcomes all artists to submit a prospectus, which can be downloaded or sent via e-mail. To have a prospectus mailed, please contact the office of Main Street Wooster, Inc. at 330-262-6222.
In past years, the event has showcased a variety of media, including ceramics, watercolors, acrylics, woodworking, art glass, printmaking, photography and fine art jewelry. The juried show also includes a variety of cash awards for artists. Booths are available in both 10-by-10 and 10-by-20 foot sizes and an on-site hospitality room and booth sitters are available. |
