The Wooster Arts Jazz Fest’s Kids’ Creation Station will be generously sponsored by PNC Bank, who will be on hand to offer children tips on how to learn from a young age necessary savings skills for life.
Kids Creation Station will be in a new location in front of PNC Bank.
Activities will include: making paper bag animal puppets like those used by drama students in puppet shows; sparkly crowns; jingle bell bracelets to be worn in the parade at 2:30 p.m.; and paper dolls that kids may decorate to look like themselves and which will be on public display at PNC bank and Wooster City Schools Central Office after the festival.
As in the past, Wooster High School art students will be on hand to do face painting and drama students will perform puppet shows at noon, 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m. Pat Catan’s will offer a fun project and their continued involvement is much appreciated.
Noah Shoal of “Imagine That Ballooning” will be in attendance to create fun balloon art.
The Kids Creation Station will be manned by volunteers from Wooster Rotary, Wooster City Schools art teachers and Wayne County Schools Career Center students, as well as the high school art and drama students mentioned above.
Any child looking to have fun at this year’s Wooster Arts Jazz Fest is encouraged to stop by the Kids Creation Station to make some fun crafts as part of a memorable day! |
